"Brunch-n-Style" is an event held and hosted by eLevated style studio where my guests are asked to dress for brunch in a specific style theme. How the ladies wear that theme is completely up to individual interpretation but the more creative the style, the more attention it catches.
The September 2018 Brunch was held at Bidwell Restaurant in Union Market in NE, Washington, DC. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Kelsie Collado, General Manager for accommodating our group. And a special shout out goes to my favorite flower girl, Kristie Lee, co-owner of Lee's Flower Shop, for providing flowers and balloons for the event. The style menu for the day was "White Hot". I chose this theme to dispel the age old style rule that you cannot wear white after Labor Day. Where did that rule even come from?!?!? You can wear white ANY DAY!!!
sharing a laugh at antiquated fashion rulesThe ladies did not disappoint me in their style choices. They looked amazing, despite the fact that September 9th was an unseasonably cold and extremely rainy and windy day. We looked like a choir of the FLYEST angels you ever did see. The fashions definitely turned heads as we walked through Union Market to document the day in photos.
As a personal stylist, I really love to see women express their individuality through their fashion choices and how they decide to style themselves in those fashions. And eLevated style studio's fashionable friends did not disappoint! Although, clearly I disappointed Tammy by forgetting her placecard (sorry, Tammy!!!)
Remember, the only fashion rules are the ones YOU make, so make GREAT rules!
